I think the Hutus are to blame for the genocide. I think this because they are the ones who carried out the genocide and killed millions. The Tutsis are the ones who killed the Hutus first president and coaxed this genocide into existence by discriminating against the Hutus, but they are not to blame. The Tutsis are not the ones who wielded clubs and machetes and struck down innocent men, women and children. Although the Tutsis may have done wrong and discriminated the Hutus, but two wrongs don’t make a right and killing innocent people with clubs and machetes is certainly not the answer.

Defiance Final
I think the the Civilians should have helped the Jews more because all they did was sit by and watch as their friends and neighbors were killed. The proper response of the U.S to the Holocaust should have been to open up immigration fully for refugees, and let it be known and do something about the extermination.I think if Genocide happens today then we should stop it immediately and capture and try whoever is responsible and if found guilty will be executed.

Defiance #3
I would go with B. The group starts to beat him, and then stops itself before it is too late. I chose this option because it shows the anger pent up by everyone at the camp. That they have lost someone to the germans and want revenge but it also shows the kindness of them. That they are still human on the inside and the war has driven them to their breaking point.
